Registration for the 2020 - 2021 Track & Field Season

The new Track & Field season begins on the 26th October, 2020 (Labour Monday). We are getting everything in place for a regular season and even though the threat of Covid-19 is still present, we anticipate the season to go ahead as normal… except for one thing...
Our registration fees for this coming season have a variation that we have introduced to help our families that may be impacted financially by Covid-19. We are offering an option to register as a "Local Only" athlete, which means paying only the local fees for our club. We want to encourage whole families to attend athletics and build up the sport... not only for Massey but for West Auckland and ultimately for the Auckland Centre. We want to encourage more children to get into sports for the sake of their wellbeing and also encourage parents to get involved with their children and I know personally from being involved in this sport since I was a child and now from being involved in this great club for 15 years that athletics is a great sport to bring families together.
What does the ‘local only’ fees option mean for our athletes? Obviously cheaper fees for the season and there is no change to club night and any local club activities, i.e. Open Day, Fun night and Prizegiving. It does however mean those athletes that choose ‘local only’ cannot attend Auckland Athletics affiliated events such as Auckland Championship events, other ‘affiliated’ club Open Days, coaching or training events run by Athletics Auckland or any other inter-club events held by Athletics Auckland or affiliated clubs.

There will still be the option to register as an affiliated athlete. This is especially applicable for Cross Country or for those athletes that want to compete at affiliated events, Auckland Champs, etc. For this option you need to follow the link for 'full season' below which will take you to our normal registration link on this website. You will then continue to register as normal paying your fees online into the Athletics NZ system.
