AKL Junior Pentathlon Champs 2012
Well done to all the athletes who represented our club at the Pentathlon. We had a record of 34 athletes who came to compete.
Well done to Brearna Fearnley who came 2nd in the 11 Girls, Liam van der Boom who came 2nd in the 12 Boys, Miriam Burden
who came 2nd in the 14 Girls, and Helena Spurdle who came 3rd in the 14 Girls!

Massey Open Day
The Massey Open Day was a great success! The Massey 4x400m Relay was won by the Massey team for the second year in a row!!
Congratulations to Brad Campbell, Helena Spurdle, Cheryl Taumafai, and Liam van der Boom for their awesome team effort!
Also a huge thankyou to all the people who helped out on the day. And thankyou to all the athletes for coming along to support the club.
It was the biggest turn-out of Massey athletes that we have ever had. We hope that all the athletes had a fun time.
North Island Colgate Games - January 2012
Well done to all the athletes who competed at the Colgate Games in Tauranga at the beginning of January!
Massey got some awesome results including our first gold medal, won by Liam van der Boom in the 12 Boys 800m with a time of 2:23.

10 athletes from Massey competed at this event. They all trained hard for the race and did really well.
Most of the athletes got new PBs and we even won a couple of medals. Congratulations to Liam van der Boom for winning the gold medal
in the 12 Boys race and to Helena Spurdle for taking the silver medal in the 14 Girls race.
