Cross Country Training

Cross Country training helps athletes to build strength, speed, stamina, and endurance.


Moire Park, with it's grass fields and bush tracks, is an ideal place to train for Cross Country Running.


Training runs take athletes around Moire Park, through the bush, and on the surrounding roads.

 

Training Sessions:


Group training for 7-10 year olds is on Mondays at 4:30-5:30pm, starting on Monday 9th April.


Group training sessions for 11-18 year olds is on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 4:30-6pm,


starting on Wednesday 4th April, Thursday 5th April, and Monday 9th April.

                                                          

                                                           Athletes must always wear shoes for training and should bring a drink bottle with them.
