All about us...

The Joggers and Walkers meet during the week on Wednesday evenings at 6pm and on Sunday mornings at 8am.

The main focus of our gatherings is to enjoy the exercise and the friendship that comes from jogging or walking with others in a group situation.

We are not serious marathoners or speedy athletes, although some of us do participate in Half Marathon and Marathon events from time to time.

The duration of our Sunday jog and walk is around 90 minutes. If you are starting out, we have members who are quite happy to do less time and distance with you to help you build your fitness so that the jog or walk is well within your capability.

Our surrounding locality offers a good range of variation for courses. We have a wonderful park with bush trails for off-road jogging and walking. We also run through the countryside, up and down hills, past urbanisation, and often see the beautiful view of the harbour.

After our run, we have showers, morning tea, and fun. All this for just an annual club subscription of $47.
